China, Here We Come!!

Yaaaay! I am really happy about this post, because it's about one of my favorite things!
About what? TRAVEL!! And this time, it's China! I am really happy that I can go.
One of the things about travel that really excites me is that you will never, ever forget where you went.
I will never forget going to India. And another thing is, it can totally change your life.
It can change your perspective, and you can see the world around you in a totally new way.
That happened to me when I went to India.

This is my second time going to China. The last time I went, I was eight, and I remember going through this Mao village, seeing the Forbidden City, and eating amazing food, and driving a lot.
I guess you can sometimes forget where you went, but it's cool to know that you really did go.
Anyway, 15 more days until we get on an airplane and fly to get my little brother, Kai Kai!
I am so excited to meet him in person. And, I am excited to go to the country where I was born.
I love being able to go to a place other than home.

I also love traveling on airplanes. I also really like airports, for some reason. I guess it's because whenever I'm in one, it usually means that I am going somewhere!
Airplanes are fun to be in, other than that you have to sit there for a looooong time.
When I went to India and they had the little TV screens in front of you, I watched Marmaduke at least three times, there and back! I guess I liked that movie. I'm not crazy about the food on the planes, but they do have pretty good cookies, and they have sprite.

But the best, best, best part about going to China is getting Kai Kai, and bringing him into our family!!!
He needs a home!

As you can tell, I am super duper wuper excited to go to CHINA!!!

P.S.
Another exciting thing is that we
are leaving on Christmas day!
Fifteen days!!!!!!!!
What an awesome day to go.

Summer Skimover

Since I haven't been able to do much blogging this summer,
and since school started on Thursday,
I decided to do a little summer post,
on everything I did in the summer.

I took pictures of doggies.
Rosemary

Maple

I went to Heaven Fest with my good friend, Sarah:)
The dirt parking lot

The Front Gate sign

Heaven Fest is a christian music event, which has lots
of good music, and tons of great food from vendors.

Adam bought me a delicious icee. It was tasty, and refreshing!

Also, I got to see Jamie Grace! I was simply ecstatic.
She signed my panda bear hat.:)

After the whole thing was over,
dad bought me a dill pickle from the gas station.
If you didn't know, I loooove pickles. It was great.

I also spent time with Alyssa, my older sister in Christ.
I really love spending time with her,
because she is super fun!

And, we went to Minnesota!
That was fun too.
I enjoyed seeing my grandparents,
as well as my Aunt Angela.

When we got back from Minnesota, we had
watched a ton of the Olympics,
and Grace loved the gymnastics,
so when we got back, we did that a lot!

This was pretty much everything that happened in the summer,
minus Grace having the terrible stomach thing,
and a few minor other things.
Back to school on Monday!

Tools and Quotes

At school we have tools and quotes, that are funny and meaningful.

Some Quotes are:
"The sky is the limit!"
"Those who do today what others won't, will do tomorrow what others can't."
"How can you kill time without injuring eternity?"
"Words create and words destroy, so I will speak only to build, encourage, bless, and give others joy."
"Many stayed in the battle because someone encouraged them.
"Wisdom gives perspective. Understanding rightly divides. Knowledge unpacks the treasure."

Some Tools are:
"S.i.l.i.l.i.f.i.p. = others won't look down on you, if you sililifip! Set an example in Speach, Life, Faith, and Purity."
"P.o.o.w.a.a.t.s. = we like poets, but first we want to be poowaats! People Of Order Who Are Able
To Serve.
"M.e.a.t. = you are what you eat, so what's your meat? Money, Energy, Affection, and Time.

One of my many favorites in the quote catagory is probably "the sky is the limit!". It shows that you can do anything if you really put your gut into it.

Another is "Words create and words destroy, so I wil speak only to build, encourage, and give others joy". Your words really DO have affect on other people. One time at school we watched this youtube video of crystalized water under a microscope. When a speaker said a word or name, the crystal was totally different. A crystal that had had the word "hate" spoken to it, was yellowed, and it looked like a piece of paper that was just on fire, while another had the word "beautiful" said to it, and it looked like a blue flower sort of thing.

My favorite tool is Sililifip. Kids can show others the love of Jesus, and they can set an example to others older than them.

As you can tell, I'm ready for yet another great school year!

Friends Are...

the bacon bits in the salad of life.

I've been very blessed with LOTS of friends!
Most of the girls in the church are my age.
And even if they aren't...
I'm friendly, so it doesn't even matter!

A few of the friends that mean the most to me...

Tatianna, my BFF
We've known each other since we were little kids.
We love to play with each other, and sometimes tease each other:)

My awesome older friend Alyssa.
She encourages me and I love it that even though
she is older than me, she still wants to spend time with me.

My chinese friend Xiao Mei.
She was adopted like me, and even though we don't
spend as much time together, we still love it when we get to!

My out-of-town friend Sarah.
She has such a beautiful love for God,
and I loooove to spend time with her!!!!!

And all the people and kids at TLC.
I'm glad that I can be raised in a Christian enviroment.

When I think of friends, I see all these faces.
Friends give life a zesty flavor.
What do you see when you think of friends?
